Development update together with TechFounders in Munich

On May 19th 2022, ImpactNexus took part in the TechFounders demo day pitch event in Munich, Germany. The event marked the final day of the 20-week TechFounders international accelerator program that brings tech startups together with corporate partners and venture capitalists.

In a mix of virtual and physical sprints the program centered around company-specific industry projects to pilot emerging technologies in a real-world corporate environment. For this, ImpactNexus partnered with the German company DATEV eG which provides technical information services for tax advisors, accountants, and attorneys. The PoC project successfully tested using ImpactNexus’ machine learning approaches to identify sustainability-related risks and opportunities from accounting information.

Next to the PoC project, all teams received a 25.000€ participation grant as well as expert mentoring and coaching. The demo day concluded with a presentation in front of over 150 guests.
